BARRY, Illinois – 8.28.26 – The Barry Apple Festival is set to hold their 57th Annual Festival from October 1, 2026 through October 4, 2026 in Lafayette Park, and its surrounding streets. Every year, the center of Barry turns from a simple park to an area packed with food, crafts, rides, and fun! For over 50 years, Barry has grew this festival, and in recent years turned its town of 1400 to hold more than 30,000 people over the course of 4 days.

Thursday night includes the festival kickoff, apple pie contest, and talent contest. Friday, vendors and rides open while retiring Barry Apple Festival Royalty crown the representatives for the coming year. Saturday starts off with a 5K hosted by the YMCA, follows with the Baby Contest, Grand Parade at 1:00pm, and closes with live music from The Sny at 6:00pm and Jordan Isakson at 7:00pm. Sunday, the streets of Barry become flooded with cars for its annual Car Show, a kiddie tractor pull is held, and the winners of the Quilt drawing and other prizes are announced.
